The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at Park Inn by Radisson Southend-on-Sea. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen department and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including the dishwashing and storage of equipment and supplies.
- Assist the chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- An eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
