Job Description: Teaching Assistant

This primary school in Harrogate is looking for a teaching assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be working in a supportive environment with a dedicated team of teachers and staff. They will assist in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment to ensure students achieve their best.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in developing and implementing effective lesson plans.
  • Work closely with students who require additional support to ensure they access the curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
Requirements:
  • A teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience is required.
  • Prior experience working in a primary school setting is advantageous.
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one is mandatory.
Salary and Benefits:
  • The salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, based on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
  • A recommend a friend scheme and re-registration bonus are available.
