About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Advisor to join our team at Southdown, a leading provider of mental health services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises to manage their wellbeing and recover in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide brief interventions to help individuals safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress
  • Support individuals to identify their needs and connect with local NHS and community support services
  • Work autonomously to deliver high-quality support and interventions
  • Collaborate with the Staying Well management team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Good understanding of local NHS and community support services
  • High level of resilience and ability to work autonomously
