Job Description

TPF Recruiting is supporting a leading firm of multi-sited accountants in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their growing and highly successful team based in the South East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, providing a mixed service across accounts and tax work, and working in a modern and relaxed environment with a flexible approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of annual accounts and final accounts review, including tax adjustments.
  • Meetings with clients to discuss their financial needs and provide expert advice.
  • Preparation of company CT600 returns, partnership returns, and individual self-assessment tax returns.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and some basic bookkeeping work.
  • Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Strong practice experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience of CCH, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  • Portfolio management experience or experience dealing with clients would also be advantageous.
