The Role

We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 driver with Hiab experience to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and efficient service on and off company premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive in accordance with the law, safely and courteously
  • Comply with current legislation
  • Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading
  • Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service
  • Build rapport and be polite and courteous to customers
  • Proactively contribute to company sales
  • Be vigilant to prevent loss or damage of product and vehicle
  • Report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately
Requirements
  • A valid HGV Class 2 Licence with Hiab (essential)
  • Experience driving within a Builders Merchants (essential)
  • A positive and friendly attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and methodical
  • Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and adaptable
  • Good interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to approach customers
  • Excellent time management skills
