Conservation Biologist

About the Position

We are seeking a Conservation Biologist to join our dedicated in-house Environmental team in Hampshire. As a Conservation Biologist, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Environmental Strategy, undertaking ecological studies, and advising on balancing project needs with environmental considerations.

You will be responsible for carrying out Ecological Site Surveys, producing Preliminary Ecological Assessments, and assisting with Ecological Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulation Assessments. You will also lead and assist with Protected Species Surveys, collate data, information, and analysis, and contribute to reports and mitigation measures.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be responsible for mentoring junior staff members and supporting their professional development.
