About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Assurance team at Unite Students. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our governance, risk management, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent assurance on our governance, risk management, and controls
- Support the Internal Audit Manager in the delivery of the annual internal assurance programme of internal audits
- Assist the Head of Risk with the identification and monitoring of business risks at Unite Students, working with colleagues across the business to help them manage risks in their areas
- Work with the Operational Compliance team to deliver audits and present results
- Assist on data protection projects - managing the risks associated with personal data
Requirements
- Working towards a degree with a technology, business, or legal element (e.g. maths, business, accountancy, law economics)
- A keen interest in risk management, assurance, and controls
- Someone who is self-reliant, eager to learn, and enjoys solving problems
