The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in taking ownership of the Sales and Purchase Ledgers, Management Accounts, VAT, Fixed Assets, and Inventory. Your responsibilities will include reviewing daily bank balances, preparing weekly cash flow forecasts, preparing the quarterly VAT return and Management Accounts, and monitoring stock valuations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager in financial reporting and analysis
  • Take ownership of the Sales and Purchase Ledgers, Management Accounts, VAT, Fixed Assets, and Inventory
  • Review daily bank balances and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare the quarterly VAT return and Management Accounts
  • Monitor stock valuations and ensure accurate inventory management

Requirements

Ideally, you will be qualified to a minimum of AAT standard, PC literate, and have advanced Excel skills. You will also be keen to progress your career within a well-established and growing business.
