Job Title: Apprentice Parts Advisor

Join Peter Vardy Ltd, a young and innovative family-run company, as an Apprentice Parts Advisor. We are seeking ambitious and determined individuals to start their career in the automotive industry.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Parts Advisor, you will be based within a parts department, involved in giving customer advice, ordering required parts, components, or accessories, and updating computer systems. You will work in a real-world environment, learning practical skills and being shadowed by a mentor or qualified members of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dealing with goods inwards, locating vehicle parts within the Parts Department
  • Rectifying orders, arranging returns, dealing with customers both internal and external
  • Maintaining stock levels through electronic means and locating parts from the stock
  • Raising invoices and cash handling for parts that are sold
  • Dealing with Incoming stock to correct bin locations
  • Identifying vehicle parts or customers/orders from a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories
  • Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from the stock
  • Liaising with other members of staff
