Cost Savings Specialist

We are seeking a Cost Reduction Specialist to join our procurement team and drive cost savings across our supply chain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for cost reduction through improved sourcing and procurement practices.

About the Job

  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies across multiple supplier categories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate best possible prices and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience of managing procurement operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
