Job Overview:
Aircraft Recovery and Serviceability Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Technical Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our aircraft recovery team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to ensure the efficient recovery and maintenance of aircraft.

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on aircraft serviceability and recovery procedures.
• Report and escalate serviceability states as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate with AIOC team members to achieve effective aircraft recovery and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and notify operational restrictions using MOSEL and ADF systems.
• Maintain communication with Pt.145 Line Supervisors to track readiness levels and optimize aircraft availability.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans in response to major incidents, adhering to RAF Crash and Disaster Plan protocols.
• Establish relationships with external resources to facilitate fast, safe, and cost-effective aircraft recovery.
• Provide out-of-hours support for in-service event reports, crew notifications, and technical inquiries.

Requirements:
• Possession of an EASA PT.66 engineers license or relevant experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of SFAR-88, EWIS, and Human Factors principles is essential.
• Proficiency in communication and information systems is necessary for success in this role.
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills are mandatory.
• Previous military aviation experience is advantageous but not essential for this position.

Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
