About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Coordinator to join our team on a Continental Shift Pattern. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the site's operational requirements, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support: Provide assistance to the site team, utilizing FLT to move materials from Warehouse to Production areas.
  • Inventory Management: Interpret Production and Materials plans to identify raw material needs, and coordinate actions to locate and move those items.
  • Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks, raising alerts if discrepancies are found between system stock and shop floor stock.
  • Delivery Management: Plan and control the unloading of inbound deliveries, checking accuracy and ensuring timely completion.
  • Team Management: Assist with team management, shift handovers, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
  • FLT license and ability to work in a hands-on role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Small-scale team management experience and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in WMS and Excel.

Please note that this is a Continental Shift Pattern, working 7 x 12-hour shifts across 14 days, including both days and nights.
