Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant to provide effective support to learners across a range of vocational subjects. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with learners, teachers, and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to learners with diverse needs, including difficulties/disabilities, Literacy, Numeracy, and Language.
  • Assist learners in developing their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting learner participation and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Good standard of education, including Level 3/C or above GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Current DBS on the update service.
