About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our Shopify development team at WRK Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions to enhance our clients' ecommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom Shopify themes and extensions to meet the needs of our clients
  • Improve and maintain website performance and accessibility to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Clearly document and educate stakeholders on new features and changes to the platform
  • Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify and provide recommendations for implementation
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure harmonious project delivery

Requirements

  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of tech
  • Embracing best practices for SEO and staying up-to-date with Shopify technologies and tooling
  • Good understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp)
  • Experience with React and Typescript, with a bonus for exposure to custom Shopify App development and Shopify's Polaris
  • Proficiency in Figma, command line tools, and Shopify CLI
  • Commercial experience with Shopify Liquid and a history of championing coding standards

The Package

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, remote working opportunities, internal 1:1 training, regular socials, and a pension scheme. Company-provided IT equipment and more.
