We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant in a secondary school in Bexley, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their teaching skills and gain valuable experience working with students.

About the Role

This is a full-time, term-time position until July 2025, offering a competitive salary of £450-500 per week. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with senior English teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored support to students to help them improve their English grades.

  • You will collaborate with the English department to create and develop teaching resources that support student success in English.
  • With your English degree, you will assist with classroom activities, manage behaviour, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • You will motivate and encourage students to aim high and cultivate a love of literature and language.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or higher degree in English from a top 25 UK University and strong A-levels, ideally in English or related subjects. Previous experience working with children is highly desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for education.
