Mobile Plant Fitter Position

Holt Recruitment is looking for a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of plant and machinery equipment.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced technician to take on new challenges and develop their skills further through continuous manufacturer and in-house training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular servicing of plant equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of parts and tools required for on-site repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including parts used and time spent on each job.

What We Offer:

  • A salary of £18-£20 per hour (DOE) plus overtime.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role, with a strong background in plant and machinery maintenance.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plant equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • A valid driving license is essential for this role.
