As a Solicitor - Wills and Probate Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Head of Department and build your own caseload and client base.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position (21-28 hours per week), with the potential to transition to full-time as the caseload grows. The role involves supervising and developing an administrative assistant, fostering leadership skills. You will be responsible for drafting and preparing Wills, applications for Grant of Probate/Representation and Powers of Attorney using online applications with OPG, HMCT, and HMLR. You will also manage client communication, both in-person and remotely, maintaining high standards of service. Additionally, you will undertake fee-earning work with supervision, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation. You will also be expected to manage your own caseload, diary and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and preparing Wills, applications for Grant of Probate/Representation and Powers of Attorney using online applications with OPG, HMCT, and HMLR
* Managing client communication, both in-person and remotely, maintaining high standards of service
* Undertaking fee-earning work with supervision, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation
* Managing your own caseload, diary and administrative duties
