We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at Sherwood Forest Residential and Nursing Home. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent food and service to our residents, ensuring that every meal is a delight for the senses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to residents, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support the development of menus and meal plans that cater to the diverse needs of our residents

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience, preferably in a care setting
  • Food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in providing excellent care
