Care Home Activities Coordinator

Porthaven Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities and Wellbeing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care home community, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging activities and leisure pursuits.
As an Activities and Wellbeing Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and delivering a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This may include arts and crafts, music, exercise, and other leisure activities designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing.
You will work closely with our care team to ensure that each resident receives person-centred care, tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Your creativity, organisational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and families will be essential in delivering a high-quality service.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is passionate about active ageing and has a genuine interest in supporting older adults to live fulfilling lives. You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
