Food Photographer Specialist

We're Ignite, a dynamic social studio seeking a skilled Food Photographer to elevate our content game. As a key member of our team, you'll conceptualize and produce high-impact, visually compelling content that sparks conversation and connection with audiences.

Reporting to our Content Lead, you'll work closely with our Content Creators and Social Media Managers to bring our clients' brands to life on social media. Your expertise in food photography will be invaluable in creating engaging content for hospitality clients, from food and drink brands to Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualizing engaging social content ideas, collaborating with our creative and strategy teams to develop platform-native concepts.
  • Ensuring content aligns with overarching social strategies, adapting creative to meet specific campaign objectives and audience insights.
  • Leading photo and video shoots independently or with a team, coordinating models, props, and on-set direction.
  • Editing content to an excellent standard for optimal performance, using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and CapCut.
  • Collaborating with the Social team to review content performance metrics and refine future content and ideation processes.
  • Mentoring junior team members, sharing expertise in best practices for social content creation.
  • Working closely with client teams to manage approvals, feedback loops, and ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years professional experience as a Content Creator for a breadth of different clients.
  • Experience working with food, beverage, or hospitality clients.
  • Proven experience in creating impactful social content on channels including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Excellent working knowledge of editing software and equipment.
  • Excellent standard of written English skills, verbal fluency, and confidence.
