Sutherland Day Nursery is a medium-sized, independent nursery in Surbiton, providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 2-5 years.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years Educators and providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Early Years Educators to deliver high-quality childcare and education
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging learning programs for children aged 2-5 years
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for development and improvement
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective education program
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to education and childcare

Requirements

  • Qualified to NVQ 3 or degree level in Early Years Education or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Nursery Room Leader or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education
