Job Title: Implementation Advisor

Are you looking for a challenging role in digital transformation? We have an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Advisor to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.

About the Role

The Implementation Advisor will play a key role in the implementation of our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution. As a subject matter expert on SNOMED-CT terminology and ICD-10/11 & OPCS-4 classifications, you will provide expert advice and support to all relevant teams and stakeholders throughout the implementation process.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design, build, implementation, testing, and delivery of EPR modules with classifications and terminology functions.
  2. Develop and maintain mappings and reference sets between patient data and clinical classifications & terminology systems.
  3. Engage with stakeholders to ensure classifications & terminology functions operate optimally and deliver high-quality encoded data.
  4. Ensure alignment of classifications & terminology functions to national and local standards and rules.
  5. Perform continuous review of the integration and implementation of classifications & terminology functions across the EPR delivery.
  6. Work closely with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery monitoring and reporting.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and validate reference sets, data mapping, and transformation of healthcare data.
  8. Promote and utilize ITIL best practices throughout the role.
  9. Identify, mitigate, and manage clinical risks associated with the integration and use of classifications & terminology functions.
  10. Contribute to the overall EPR implementation programme and improve financial performance by facilitating timely delivery of high-quality encoded activity.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in SNOMED-CT terminology and ICD-10/11 & OPCS-4 classifications. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
