About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at DCS Recruitment in Wrexham. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the commercial and contractual performance of designated projects is correctly managed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage commercial and contractual requirements on designated projects, including preparation of accurate and detailed monthly cost reports.
  2. Work closely with Contracts Management to ensure all required site records and correspondence are completed in accordance with contract requirements and company procedures.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to maintain or exceed company objectives, discussing ideas with the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
  4. Liaise with clients and design teams to ensure project success and maintain close working relationships.

Requirements:

  • Several years of relevant contracting experience, with strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision on numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Good attention to detail and methodical approach.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
