Job Overview

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will conduct safety assessments, support projects, and collaborate with project leaders and engineers to ensure the safety and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct safety analyses, identify hazards, and implement mitigations.
  • Develop safety requirements to meet customer and regulatory targets.
  • Work closely with engineering disciplines, customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Support audits and promote a safety culture within the project.

Estimated Salary Range: £64,000 - £76,800 per annum (based on 3 days/week on-site).

About the Role
This is a 12-month contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. You will work on various projects, including radar systems, surveillance AESA radars, IRCM systems, and laser target designators. Your work will focus on designing and developing solutions that address complex engineering problems.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have knowledge of safety analysis in a safety-critical industry, experience working with complex systems, and exposure to relevant standards and regulations. Additionally, you should have a background of working with various stakeholders and possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
