Job Summary:

Vitalograph, a global leader in manufacturing medical respiratory diagnostic devices and software, is seeking an IT Specialist to join our Respiratory Diagnostic Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert Level 2 IT support on all Vitalograph PFT Solutions related software projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert IT support on all Vitalograph PFT Solutions related software projects, including software installation, networking, and EMR integration.
  • Manage IT projects and attend meetings with customer IT departments to discuss scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide Level 2 onsite and remote IT support for all PFT Solutions software solutions to internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and end users globally.
  • Handle customer complaints for the product range through the Quality Management System (QMS), performing root cause analyses and developing preventative and corrective actions.
  • Provide IT training courses to internal stakeholders and partners, including the creation of all associated materials, manuals, and documentation.
  • Assist with initial and selective important installations at customer locations.
  • Create and maintain documentation, manuals, etc. to support the role, internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and end users.
  • Support sales and marketing with select projects, workshops, and exhibitions.
  • Advise Product Management regarding customer satisfaction, customer feedback, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent IT qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of Health Level 7.
  • Experience with the installation and troubleshooting of generic Windows desktop applications.
  • Experience with running queries on SQL database logs to aid with issue identification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of desktop PC hardware.
  • Ability to confidently replace components if/when required as part of a troubleshooting process.
