Childcare Professional

Bright Horizons Peckham Rye Day Nursery and Preschool seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team. This part-time role comes with an above industry standard salary, with annual salary reviews, including a base salary of around £27,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification and prior experience working with children. They must be passionate about making learning fun and engaging for each child, with excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong parent/carers partnerships, promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.

Key Requirements:
• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar)
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
