Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement behavioral management strategies to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Strong behavioral management skills and ability to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
