Management Accountant Contract Opportunity

We are working with a Manufacturing company in Coventry to recruit a Management Accountant on a 6-month interim contract. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for assisting with month-end and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily business transactions to ensure smooth business progress
  • Prepare monthly financial reports to tight deadlines
  • Conduct financial and cost analyses to support local business decisions
  • Book journal entries in accordance with guidelines
  • Reconcile nominal ledger accounts in a timely manner
  • Participate in planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
  • Support Sarbanes Oxley compliance processes and procedures
  • Provide high-level management reporting and corporate exposure
  • Manage monthly staff payroll and provide support for weekly shop-floor payroll
  • Support the Credit Management & Accounts Supervisor
  • Involve in current practices and management actions
  • Support external and internal audits
  • Deputise for the FC/Credit Management & Accounts Supervisor as required
  • Liaise with the warehouse team for inventory changes
