Job Purpose\

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Engineer and Manager who can coach and train others on a structured approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will have the ability to look at the whole business, not just their individual departmental status, and have a logical & data-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities\

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing strong leadership to the Engineering teams.
  • Championing Engineering improvements and new technologies.
  • Driving ownership within each plant for Health & Safety, Quality, and real root cause problem solving.
  • Ensuring necessary external service contracts are in place.
  • Introducing suitable processes and methods for manufacturing new products.
  • Mentoring & coaching reports & sub-ordinates.
  • Driving effective data-driven problem solving.
Requirements\

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Full Driving Licence.
  • PC skills including CAD, modelling software, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Proven Engineering Management experience.
