Childcare Assistant Lead Position

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Childcare Assistant Lead to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to our children.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. A minimum NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education is required, and previous experience working with children under the age of 5 years is essential.

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

As a Childcare Assistant Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Management team in providing the highest quality childcare and education. This will include planning and executing educational activities for children attending our full day care services, maintaining child-to-staff ratios, and following Ofsted and Trust procedures and policies.
