About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to lead our team of professionals in providing comprehensive outsourced financial services to venture capital-backed start-ups and growing owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a talented team of professionals in delivering high-quality and cost-effective services to clients.
  • Manage and optimize a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
  • Supervise and assist with the training of new and existing members of staff.
  • Form and maintain strong client relationships, empowering autonomy subject to prior partner review and approval.
  • Assist colleagues and juniors with technical queries and delegate routine work to juniors for review.
Main Responsibilities Include:
  • Management Accounts and Board Reports
  • Implementing Cloud Accounting Packages
  • Innovation and Improvement of Systems and Software
  • VAT Returns
  • Management of Team
  • Training and Development
  • Statutory Accounts
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in practice.
  • At least 1 year's experience of managing team members and clients.
  • Strong IT skills including advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience of cloud accounting packages e.g. Xero, QuickBooks
  • Curiosity and interest in accounting technology
  • Wide range of sector experience
