Job Title: Digital Content Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Content Specialist to join our team at The Telegraph. As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality digital content across a range of formats, including articles, interactive builds, display ads, and content hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce written copy for digital partnerships, utilising SEO and social copy techniques.
  • Participate in creative sessions to assist with ideation for digital campaigns.
  • Publish content to multiple platforms, including telegraph.co.uk, The Telegraph's App, YouTube, and Apple News.
  • Optimise digital content with best practice SEO techniques.
  • Build web pages and manage content hubs using Adobe AEM and other digital platforms.
  • Proofread and test digital content on multiple browsers and devices.
  • Meet publishing deadlines and work with the Distribution team to ensure audience KPIs are met.
  • Communicate digital content strategies and SEO best practice to colleagues and clients.
  • Liaise with project managers, commissioning editors, digital designers, and sales teams to ensure content is produced to brief and to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of Telegraph digital platforms, editorial initiatives, podcasts, events, and subscriber-first business model.
  • Skilled copywriter with the ability to create compelling written content.
  • Experience of implementing onsite SEO techniques and use of keyword planning and analytics tools.
  • Awareness and experience in using various CMS, Photoshop, social media platforms, Apple News, and other content platforms.
  • Ability to proofread online web pages to rectify grammatical and web styling errors.
