Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Aviation Thumbnail Artist to help support our existing team/artists with developing captivating and click-worthy video thumbnails. You will combine your creative vision with a deep understanding of YouTube trends and audience psychology to drive higher click-through rates and audience retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our content team to brainstorm and develop compelling thumbnail concepts that align with the technical and educational content of our YouTube videos.
  • Create eye-catching thumbnails that effectively communicate the content, value, and intrigue of the video.
  • Utilize image design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) to execute your ideas and bring them to life.
  • Deploy competitor research to provide thumbnail inspiration, staying on top of YouTube design trends.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design with proven experience creating YouTube thumbnails.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • A strong understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms and how to optimize content for those platforms.
  • A strong passion for aviation and storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with creative teams, responding to feedback and briefs in a timely fashion.
