Transformative SENCO Role
Are you passionate about empowering students with special educational needs to reach their full potential? We invite experienced and dedicated SENCOs to join our collaborative team at a vibrant primary school in the SN15 area. This part-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to make a lasting impact on children's lives.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SENCO to lead our school's SEN provision, ensuring that every child receives tailored support to succeed academically and socially. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop effective individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEN strategies to promote inclusivity and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Work closely with parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and monitoring systems to track student progress.
- Foster a positive and supportive school environment, promoting emotional well-being and safeguarding.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A strong background in SEN practice, preferably as an experienced SENCO or practitioner.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and external partners.Organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.An empathetic and proactive approach, with a commitment to meeting the unique needs of each student.Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to contribute to school-wide initiatives and developments.Benefits:
