Aerospace Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Acis Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and embed a positive health and safety culture throughout the organization
- Monitor compliance with corporate occupational health, safety, and regulatory measures
- Develop and implement operational and strategic health and safety KPI performance measures
- Support the Health and Safety Advisor in the delivery of health and safety training and awareness programs
- Provide health and safety leadership and information to the Health and Safety Steering Group
- Support line managers and senior managers in assessing and improving health and safety standards
- Oversee accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and management of RIDDOR cases
- Work with the Health and Safety Advisor to conduct inspections and investigations
- Design and deliver health and safety compliance courses and toolbox talks
- Lead on achieving ISO45001 accreditation
- IOSH membership
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Health and Safety Management
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
- Experience of leading health and safety and managing health and safety risk
- Passion for health and safety and drive to progress
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality management systems, and industry standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and flexible approach
- Ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organization
- Proficient use of IT systems, including Word and Excel
- Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
