Urology Nursing Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Urology Nursing Specialist to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with benign urological conditions.
Working closely with consultant clinics and other healthcare professionals, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of nursing care for patients with benign urology conditions. You will also be responsible for undertaking urological procedures as outlined in the job description and supported by clinicians and senior CNS teams as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urology and general surgery, with leadership skills and experience in providing direction, upholding, and elevating care standards. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the cohesive management of benign urology patients.
A key aspect of this role is education and training, where you will contribute to the development of the workforce by delivering high-quality training sessions. Your ability to implement changes within nursing practice and knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata, along with a full-time permanent contract.
