Role Overview

The Head of Finance and Organisation Development is a key position within NFP People, responsible for providing exceptional financial and business administrative functions to enable the charity to achieve its mission. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent financial management skills, who can work closely with the management team to drive organisational growth and success.

As a member of our management team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our strategic and operational management, working closely with our Chief Executive and Trustees.

Job Description
As the Head of Finance and Organisation Development, you will be responsible for managing the charity's finances and business administration functions, including commissioning and managing service providers and agents, providing advice to the Board and Management Team, and serving as Company Secretary. You will also be involved in preparing end-of-year group accounts, cash handling, banking, paying invoices, and producing monthly management accounts using financial systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent financial and business administration skills, with experience in managing finances, office management, recruiting and managing staff, and providing support services. You should also have excellent IT skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite, and database management. While knowledge of HR and IT functions is beneficial, training and development opportunities are available.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 33 days annual holiday entitlement pro rata, pension contribution of up to 5% of gross pay, flexible delivery of hours, remote working options, and free on-site parking.
