About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Porter to join our Facilities Directorate team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a General Porter, you will play a vital role in providing an efficient and effective portering service across Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive and responsive portering service to patients, staff, visitors, and service users.
- Transport patients, equipment, documentation, linen, waste, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with Trust specifications and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
Requirements
- Good level of general education and basic English and maths skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others.
- Good customer service skills and experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to apply and maintain standards consistently.
