Job Overview

NHS England is seeking a nationally recognised and respected Allied Health Professional to play a pivotal role in the clinical leadership of the WT&E Directorate.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated change agent with excellent attention to detail, able to build strong and effective multi-professional partnerships, and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.

The role requires a deep understanding of the key contemporary workforce issues affecting the allied health professions, including the specific issues impacting the small and vulnerable professions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead important, innovative, and high-quality workforce solutions across Allied Health Professions.
  • Ensure NHS England delivers key Mandate and NHS Long Term Plan policy improvement priorities in education reform and workforce transformation.

Requirements

  • A current allied health professional registered with either the Healthcare Professions Council or the General Osteopathic Council.
  • Extensive workforce leadership experience across allied health at regional and/or national level.
