We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Lineage Logistics Holding, LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our network.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any defects to the relevant authorities.
- Loading and Unloading: Ensure that the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle, and that all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner.
- Delivery and Collection: Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in accordance with the law and company procedures, and obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to the depot.
- Qualifications: Hold a valid C+E driving licence, a valid in-date DigiTacho, and a CPC qualification.
- Experience: Have previous Class 1 driving experience and be able to lift up to 18kg.
- Communication: Be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
- Overtime: Earn overtime pay after 39 hours at time and a half.
- Annual Leave: Receive an additional day of annual leave each year up to the maximum of one extra week for length of service.
