We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our team at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of resource mobilization strategies, coordinating the preparation of project documents, and conducting stakeholder/donor meetings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies to support the IMO's technical cooperation work.
2. Coordinate the preparation of project documents, including project concept notes and proposals.
3. Conduct stakeholder/donor meetings to identify potential funding sources and partnerships.
4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resource mobilization efforts.
5. Provide input to the Divisional reports and contribute to the development of resource mobilization policies and processes.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, business administration, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, partnerships, or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
