Finance Operations Specialist

At Smith and Reed, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. This part-time position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to support daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process transactions onto purchase ledgers, including imputing to supplier accounts
- Record direct debits and post payments onto the finance system
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented
Estimated salary: £12.64 per hour.
Requirements:- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role with emphasis on purchase ledger
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
