We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at a leading private hospital in Ipswich. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, including medication reviews, patient consultations, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Wards: Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, including medication reviews, patient consultations, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Dispensary: Manage the hospital dispensary, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, monitor patient responses, and provide guidance on medication management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient care plans and improve medication-related outcomes.
- Education: Provide education and training to healthcare staff and patients on medication use and safety.
**Requirements**
- Qualifications: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in clinical pharmacy services.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
