Job Summary:

Kinetic PLC is seeking a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to join our team in Bradford. As a key member of our structural fabrication team, you will be responsible for working with NG Bailey to deliver high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel materials, ranging from 7mm to 20mm in thickness, to a high standard.
  • Carry out fillet and butt weld tests on site to demonstrate competence.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a clean, spacious, and fully heated workshop environment.
  • Use high-quality masks and respiratory equipment, as well as PPE, provided by the company.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project commitments and deadlines.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £17.16 (increasing to £17.47 with crane license) for 4 days of work.
  • Overtime available at a rate of T+1/2 on Friday and Saturday.
  • 28 days of holiday pay (pro rata) for the first 12 weeks, increasing to 33 days.
  • Immediate start with the possibility of a permanent contract after 18 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator, with a strong understanding of multiple welding practices.
  • Competence in steel work fabrications, including setup and use of welding plant and equipment.
  • Knowledge of welding defects and possible causes.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment.
