Job Summary

We are seeking a Surface Treatment Inspector to join our team, working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of surface treatments on aircraft parts, ensuring adherence to customer design specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect parts to customer design data before dispatch.
  2. Conduct inspections of parts for first-off operations, adhering to customer design specifications.
  3. Utilize various specific tools for component measurement, including the paint thickness meter and tape testing of paint.
  4. Ensure compliance with inspection procedures and standards.
  5. Generate inspection reports as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar quality assurance inspection role is essential.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving techniques.
  • Competence in using PCs and related software programs.

Additional Information

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include company pension, cycle to work scheme, health & wellbeing programme, and on-site parking.
