About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to work in a modern office environment, collaborating with a specialist team in a multi-disciplinary setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender and construction stage drawings and specifications, liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met, and contributing to the development of design proposals and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tender and construction stage drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met
  • Undertake material research and specify building materials and finishes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet building codes and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of design proposals and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest building regulations and industry best practice
Requirements
  • Minimum three years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) or a skilled Architectural Technologist who is prepared to pursue this
  • Good knowledge with Revit
  • Knowledge of NBS would be advantageous
  • High technical standard
  • Strong construction detailing experience
  • Live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
