About the Role

Veritas Partners Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Category Controller to join our National Accounts & Marketing Team. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with external customers and internal Sales/Marketing functions to drive mutual category growth in-line with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have gained category insight/management experience within a recognised FMCG branded manufacturer or leading market-data company at Senior Category Manager or Category Controller level.

Responsibilities
  • Manage key accounts to drive category growth through regular client meetings
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to provide insights on opportunities within the market
  • Build and sustain relationships with key retail contacts
  • Use insight to influence range and merchandising plans at category reviews
  • Provide detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities
  • Support the development of category plans

We are looking for an action orientated individual who excels at relationship building, has great analytical skills, and excellent communication & presentation skills.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous customer facing experience in an FMCG business working in category
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen, Dunnhumby & SelfServe data
