The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Service Assistant to join our team at Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in our 2 Rosette standard restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Meet and greet guests, providing a warm and friendly welcome to our restaurant.
  • Take guest orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, to our guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Complete satisfaction checks, ensuring our guests have a positive dining experience.
  • Resolve any service issues, providing a prompt and effective solution to any problems that may arise.
  • Present bills to guests and take payment, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of transactions.
  • Reset the restaurant at the end of the shift, ready for the next service.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and tidy before departing, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a passion for guest service, and experience within a quality food service hotel or restaurant. You must also have a smart appearance and be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
