About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Relief Security Officer to join our team at First Response Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and residents.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring safe access to buildings at all times
  • Carry out patrols and hazard reporting as requested
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Complete all necessary reports in line with company documentation
  • Access/Egress control
  • Key Holding responsibilities
  • Control and monitor access to the car parks
  • Adhere to policies and procedures at all times
  • General refuse management and ensuring overall tidiness on site
  • Provide a high standard of customer service
  • Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos
Essential Skills
  • Valid DS Security SIA Licence
  • Happy with relief work
  • Commitment to providing first-class customer service
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history
  • Excellent attention to detail
