Job Overview

CASCO Pet is seeking an experienced Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our pet equipment nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Installation

  • Attend customer sites to install CASCO Pet equipment, ensuring all aspects of the installation process are completed to the correct standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the delivery to ensure all necessary components are present.
  • Produce high-quality work in all areas of responsibility within agreed timescales.

Service

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities and reactive breakdown repairs for our clients.
  • Provide ongoing training to store personnel on all elements of the filtration systems.
  • Manage returns and warranty parts within stores.
  • Follow the service itinerary as planned.
  • Ensure timely attendance at scheduled call-outs for out-of-hours emergency pager coverage.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel may be required over weekends to ensure timely site attendance.
  • Work flexible hours to meet job deadlines.
  • Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing for self and others at all times.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Ensure company vehicles are stocked with necessary consumable items and tools.

Requirements

  • Experience in using hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of electrics, plumbing, carpentry, or joinery is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Excellent DIY skills.
  • Full, clean driving license is essential.
  • Experience in the animal industry is an advantage.
